Ying Liu, PhD

Dr. Liu received her PhD in Epidemiology from Vanderbilt University and joined CVI to work as a Biostatistician in the year of 2020. Her PhD research interest was in lifestyle risk factors for breast cancer, and she was certified by the NIH Office of Clinical Research in the course of Introduction to the Principles and Practice of Clinical Research (IPPCR) during her PhD training. She received her MPH degree in Chronic Disease Epidemiology and obtained a certificate in Regulatory Affairs from Yale School of Public Health. In between graduate schools, she worked as a Research Consultant on several large-scale consortia of brain tumor research. Before came to the US, Dr. Liu was trained as a Pharmacist in Chinese herbal medicine.
