Shaveta Vinayak, M.D., M.S. is an Associate Professor in the Division of Oncology at University of Washington and an Associate Member of the Clinical Research Division at the Fred Hutch Cancer Research Center. She received her medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine and her master’s degree in Physiology and Biophysics from Georgetown University. She trained as a resident in Internal Medicine at Montefiore Medical Center of Albert Einstein College of Medicine and completed her fellowship training in Medical Oncology at Stanford University. Her goals as a clinical and translational researcher are to develop novel immunotherapies for the treatment of triple-negative and BRCA-associated breast cancers. She serves as the Director of Clinical Trials at the CVI.
