Dr. Kretzer obtained her MD/PhD at Washington University in St. Louis. She obtained her PhD in Immunology. Her work examined an innate immune cell essential for the development of an anti-tumor response. She then completed her residency in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Washington. She further developed an interest in tumor immunology while working with the Gynecology Oncology group. She now aspires to use her expertise at CVI to aid in the development of tumor vaccines for ovarian cancer. Outside of work, she enjoys competing in triathlons, cooking, and walking her two Shiba Inu’s: Hollie and Ella.
