Aya is a first-year graduate student with the Molecular Medicine & Mechanisms of Disease (M3D) program at UW. She received her BS in Biochemistry from UW in 2019. Before joining M3D, she was a member of the Lawlor Lab at the Seattle Children's Research Institute, where she studied the molecular mechanisms of Ewing sarcoma development. In her free time, she enjoys reading, cooking, and playing with her cats.
